Need to bring a large light switch or socket faceplate forward from the wall? This custom spacer is designed for oversized, multi-gang and non-standard faceplates where a regular single or double socket spacer is not suitable.

Made to your required dimensions, this spacer sits between the wall and your faceplate to create a clean raised edge, cover gaps, improve the finish after tiling or plastering, or add extra depth behind the faceplate for wiring.

How it works

This spacer is fitted behind your existing faceplate, sitting between the faceplate and the wall or back box. It raises the faceplate forward by the selected thickness, helping it sit more neatly where the wall surface is uneven, tiled, too deep, or where more clearance is needed behind the plate.

Can you make this for any size faceplate?
In most cases, yes, we support up to 25cm x 25cm. Please send the overall dimensions when ordering.

Can I send a photo instead of a drawing?
Yes. A clear photo with a ruler or tape measure is very helpful, especially for large custom plates.

Will this fit behind my existing faceplate?
It is designed to be made to your measurements, so it should match your faceplate as closely as possible when accurate dimensions are supplied.

Do I need longer screws?
Usually, yes. The screws need to be longer than the original ones by at least the spacer thickness.

Is this for standard single or double sockets?
